At New Horizons we work collaboratively with local authority support services within the Education and Early Intervention Department.

This department is responsible for supporting schools and settings to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.

As a proportion of our young people may have identified or unidentified Additional Learning Needs, we work in close partnership with Inclusion officers and Educational Psychologists.

Often the service is required to be innovative in how it engages with young people and is reliant on effective working with partners such as In2Change, Youth Justice Service and Participation, to ensure that young people receive the best support and opportunities possible.

Further information about support available can be found in the following links:

In addition to this, we access wider authority support and external agency support from teams such as Child and Adolescence Mental Health Service; Social Care; Corporate Parenting; School Nurse and Third Sector Organisations.
