New Horizons is a portfolio pupil referral service, all admissions are through a school based application process to a Local Authority multi-agency panel.

Stiwdio Hafod is a short stay / de-escalation key stage 3 site, for children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The provision is accessed either through a school based referral process or direct through Wrexham County Borough Council, following permanent exclusion from school. Our aspiration is to re-build self-confidence and esteem, for children and young people to successfully re-engage with learning and return back to school. Our aim is to provide the support and interventions required to aid a successful transition back to mainstream school over a 12 week period.

Stiwdio Pen-y-Cae is a key stage 4 site, for children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The provision is accessed either through a school based referral process or direct through Wrexham County Borough Council, following permanent exclusion from school. Our aim is to provide a broad, balanced and innovative curriculum that develops a wide range of sustainable employability skills. Health and well-being provision is embedded throughout the curriculum offer.

Haulfan is a key stage 3 and key stage 4 site, for children and young people with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This is a broad umbrella term used to describe young people who experience a significant level of anxiety and have severe difficulty in attending a mainstream school environment. Children and young people who attend Haulfan will have received, or be receiving support from CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service) or associated support services e.g. CAMHS In-reach, Inspire. Our aim is to proved a broad and balanced curriculum offer that equip children and young people with sustainable skills to enable transition into further education, apprenticeships or the world of work. Therapeutic and well-being interventions and support are delivered as part of the curriculum offer.
